Biography

Rose was born in 1854. She was the daughter of Samuel Lattimore and Ellen Larrabee.^[1]

She was married to Joseph Tilden Alling on 23 June 1881 in Rochester, New York. They were the parents of two children Harold and Eric. Joseph was businessman and civic leader. He was also a member of the Presbyterian Church at Rochester. The Alling family history points out that Joseph, was "a teacher of the famous 'Alling Class' in the Central Presbyterian Church of rochester. This class in 1884 was an ordinary class of eight members, which, under his aggressive leadership, has steadily increased until it now numbers nearly one thousand members."^[2]

She passed away 19 January 1945 at Rochester. ^[3]
