Daniel was born March 3, 1795.[1] He was the son of Peter Lau and Barbara Renoll.[1] He was christened May 24, 1795, at Saint Paul (Zeiglers) Lutheran Church in North Codorus Township, York, Pennsylvania.[1]
He married Margaret "Rebecca" Fissel in 1815.
In 1850 Daniel and Rebecca were living in Pennsylvania with 9 children: John, Adam, Daniel, Rudolph, Jonas, Levi, Sarah, Eve and Cath. [2]
In 1860 they were living in Pennsylvania with 4 childfen (Rudolph, Jonas, Levi and Catharina) and 68 year old Mary Lau. [3]
He was buried in Saint Paul (Zeiglers) Lutheran Cemetery in Seven Valleys, North Codorus Township, York County, Pennsylvania, USA.[5]
