Johann Peter Lau has German Roots.

Hans was born April 11, 1701, and baptized April 14, 1701, in Lembach, Northern Alsace.[1] He is the son of Theobald Lau and Margaretta Unknown.[2]

I added this source with a Sharing Link since not everyone has an Ancestry membership. I suspect the death date is incorrect or a typo. There are no sources to support this date.

Yes, the death date makes no sense. The Family Search tree gives a death date abot 1775 but with no sources.

Better left blank than what is there. I'll remove it.
