Biography

Ammon was born in 1893.[1] Ammon was the illegitimate son of Louisa Ann Lau and Benjamin Frank Hilbert. This is knowledge from court records found at the York History Center Archives. Ammon went by Ammon Hilbert until sometime after the 1910 censes. When he married he was going by Ammon G Lau per marriage license and the 1920 censes.

Ammon married Margaret Elizabeth Hafer. They lived in York, York County, Pennsylvania, United States.[2][3]

He passed away in 1933. He was buried at Saint Paul (Zeiglers) Lutheran Cemetery, Seven Valleys, York County, Pennsylvania, USA.[4]
