Member of the Royal College of Surgeons, England. Member of the Royal College of Physicians, Edinburgh, 4 May 1819. Fellow of Royal Society of Edinburgh, 1 Mar 1825.
In 1829 Dr. William Preston Lauder was resident at 91 Sloane Street, Chelsea, formerly of Wallingford, Reading. The 1843 Post Office Directory has him at 8 Sloane Street, Knightsbridge, Chelsea. This may have been a surgery.
He died on 1 Apr 1850 in Chelsea, London, (age 63) apparently without Issue.
His wife was still living at 91 Sloane Street as a widow and an annuitant when the 1851 Census was taken.
