Biography

Alexander Laundreaux was born on ~September 30, 1833 in Saint-Guillaume-d'Upton, Yamaska, Quebec, Canada.[citation needed]

Per census records, he emigrated to the U.S. in 1849 or 1852.

Alexander married about 1870 a Dakota Sioux woman Mollie (1852 - ~1952).

Alexander died on October 16, 1916 in Whitehorse, Dewey, South Dakota, United States aged ~83. He is buried in Saint Johns Catholic Cemetery, Promise, Dewey County, South Dakota, USA.[1]
