Biography

Michael immigrated to New South Wales as an assisted immigrant arriving on the 'Theresa' on 25 Aug 1842. His parents were James and Elizabeth Law, who were both deceased by 1842. He was from County Fermanagh, and aged 38. Arriving with him was his wife Margaret, and children William 16, James 11, Thomas 9, Margaret 7, and Elizabeth 3. One son and one daughter died on the voyage. [1]

He appears to have died by 1853, as his wife remarried in that year.
