Henry 'Harry' Law was born 25 October 1891 in California to Daniel Law and Mary Dillon. He was the fifth of seven children.

After his parents death Harry lived with his brothers on Connecticut Street on Potrero Hill in San Francisco. He worked at the ship yard for many years then became an inspector.

On 9 July 1938 Harry married Katie Rahmer in San Francisco. They had one daughter.

Harry died 12 December 1968 and is buried with his wife in Holy Cross Cemetery, Colma, California.
