Biography

Dorothy (Lord) Ingersoll immigrated to New England as a child during the Puritan Great Migration (1621-1640).
Dorothy Lord, daughter of Thomas Lord senior and Dorothy Bird, was baptized Jul 01, 1629 at Towcester, Northamptonshire, England. [1] [2]

She married John Ingersoll by 1652. [3] They had three daughters, Hannah Ingersoll, Dorothy Ingersoll, and Margaret Ingersoll. [4] Dorothy (Lord) Ingersoll died 3 JAN 1656/7 Northampton, Massachusetts.[5] Dorothy Lord, age 4, and family sailed aboard the “Elizabeth and Ann,” with Roger Cooper as Master, from London to New England in 1635.[6]
