She 26 Jun 1963 in Charlotte, Mecklenburg County, North Carolina, and was buried with many of her relatives at Hollybrook Cemetery in Lincoln County.
It is (for now) difficult to determine which of two men was Flossie's husband. 1) Charles Gordon Saunders (7 Sep 1901 - 16 Jul 1962, buried at the Alexis Baptist Church Cemetery in Gaston County) and 2) John R. Gardner, Sr., who shows on some death records of some of Flossie's children.
