Catherine Lawler was born about 1816 to John Anderson Lawler and Mary "Polly" Argoe.
She married Jeremiah C Denton on 19 Oct 1837 in Fayette County, Illinois. She had at 4 children with Jeremiah: Ruth Ann (Denton) Johnson (1837-1929), Nancy Elizabeth (Denton) Pugh (1841-1914), Mary A (Denton) Morris Pugh (1843-1900) and Melsey Catherine (Denton) Buckles (1846-1870)
She passed away after about 1847-1848.
