Biography

Theresa Veronica Lawless was born 11 May 1920 in Vernon, New York. She married Robert Russell Davis on 22 November 1945 in Rome, New York. She died 30 June 1978 in Sun City, Arizona.

They had no children.

The Syracuse Herald -American ran the article about their wedding. It says, "Miss Lawless Wed to Rome Engineer". - Oneida- Miss Theresa Veronica Lawless, daughter of James S. Lawless, Vernon, and Robert Russell Davis, Sioux Falls, S.D., who were married in the rectory of St. Joseph's Church, Oriskany Falls, Thanksgiving Day by the Rev. Lawrence H. Daley, will live in Chicago after Jan 1. 1946. The couple came to Oneida for a wedding dinner after which they went to New York City for a week. Mrs. Raymond Crumb, Westmoreland, sister of the Bride, and Morris Cleland, Schenectady, were the wedding attendants. The bride is in the insurance and compensation department of the General Cable Corp., Rome. Mr. Davis is a consultant engineer for Rome Cable Corp. (Syracuse Herald-American 25 Nov 1945 p. 29).
