Adam Laurence was a Revolutionary War Veteran, perhaps in the North Carolina Militia.[3]

Research Notes

We are speculating that the Adam Laurence who is referred to as a Revolutionary War soldier buried at Snow Creek by the Genealogical Society and in the Landmark article was the father of Adam W. Laurence, Jr.[4]
