Biography

Ann Lawrence was born about 1714 in the Isle Wight County in the Colony of Virginia. Ann was the daughter of Robert Lawrence and Sarah Exum.

Ann Lawrence was married twice, first in 1734 to Edward Eley. After his death she then married William Joyner.

Ann died in Southampton County, VA., on January 12, 1786.[citation needed]

Research Notes

No credible records give Edward Eley the middle name of John, nor do they meant a John Eley as a spouse.

Lawrence-5801 and Lawrence-1512 appear to represent the same person because: Same children, spouse and parents. From further research i'm pretty sure the 1714 DOB is correct.
