Per Cochrane's History of the Town of Antrim:
William Lawrence was b. 1762 in Groton, MA, to Jonathan and Esther (Shedd) Lawrence. He married Sarah F. Farwell, also of Groton, MA. William and Sarah moved to Washington, NH in 1812. He kept a hotel several years on the Gould place. He was a very respectable man, and had meetings at his house two Sundays in the year, at which Mr. Whiton preached. In 1818, he moved back to Washington, NH, were he died in 1830, aged 86. Sarah, his wife, died in 1850, aged 82. Their children were:
Sarah. b. 1787 in Groton, MA; m. Sylvester Hubbard of Washington; d. 1824 in Hillsborough, NH
Edmund. b. 1793 in Groton, MA; m. Harriet M. Brainard, daughter of Dea. Brainard of Washington, NH, and d. 1854 at West Dennis, MA
Mary. b. 1795 in Washington, NH. m. Dea. Samuel Burbank of Washington, NH.; moved to Hillsborough, where she d. 1876.
William F. b 1803; m. Mary L. Churchill of Nashua; kept a hotel in Washington, NH, and was afterwards for several years, a stage-driver; was highly esteemed. He finally moved to Nashua and there d. 1856.
