It might have been placed by a group like DAR, SAR, etc. There is a Pedigree Resource File entry on familyhistory.org that shows Solomon LAWRENCE, DOB abt. 1762, DOD shows "Will 1 Jul 1806" in Nelson County, Kentucky, with parents of James LAWRENCE and Elizabeth (no last name), and wife of Ann McCONNELL, married 23 Jan 1784 in Lincoln County, Kentucky

This is his will: In the name of God Amen. Whereas I, Solomon Lawrence of Nelson Co, State of Kentucky, being sick and weak in body but of perfect mind and memory, rebuking the frailty of all flesh , do make and ordain disamulled is made and set aside all formal wills or legacys and whatever else by me behind me.
1st I recommend my soul to God who gave it to me, also my body to be
decently intered at the Discention of Joseph Beatly and my wife Ann Lawrence
and whom I make an account and constitute my lawful executor.
2nd after discharging my lawful debts, I owe and now the ground I now clear
and all amount of ground cleared in between the field and the house be used
for the support of my family and wife.
I will and bequeath to my daughter Elizabeth Persley the sum of one dollar,
the lawful amount of the State of Kentucky.
To my Son James Lawrence I will 100 acres of land, to be land off in the
lower end of s urvey.
I will to son William Lawrence one hundred acres of jointly abovementioned
lots on the upper side.
To my son Samuel Lawrence I will one Hundred acres of land which is
ajointing to above lot.
To my son Robert Lawrence I will one hundred acres of land being the upper
part where the house stands.
With the following reserved willing the above lots that when my youngest
daughter Fanny comes to mature age. The different lot to be laid off in
according to quailly that is to say whose lot shall respect to be quailly.
Shall payment to him that is different in agreement to the judgement of two
or more disinterested men of the land or other disvantage accounting.
Item also that James, William and Samuel and Robert Lawrence by joint
effect each respect pay in horse, saddle and clothing.
To Jenny, Ann, Mary and Fanny my daughts the amount of 35 lbs. lawful money
by the awards disinterested person if they themselves cannot agree there
upon themselves.
Jenny etc. each resptestly arrive to mature age and lastly that all my
Personal estate a fter selling so much as well as discarding and remains at
the disport of my wife Ann Lawrence signed and seal and delivered in the
