William was born in 1794 to Henry Lawrence and Elizabeth Parrish. His first marriage was to Miss Mariah Vivian. They were united in marriage in December of 1827 in Clark County, Kentucky.[1][2] It is assumed that Mrs. Lawrence died either during childbirth or soon after leading to his second marriage.

There are three profiles for this individual. THOMAS LAWRENCE, b. July 4, 1794, Goochland Co., VA in the Lawrence book. No middle name. I believe should be removed. Had brother William born after 1800, still searching for his date of birth. It is imperative to search first before creating new profiles. The failure to do so results in a lot of back checking and merging.
You are absolutely correct... As I started adding profiles for my Lawrence line I noticed there were MANY orphaned duplicates... I tried to adopt all the ones I came across with the hopes of untangling and figuring out more accurate information and merging where necessary. As you can clearly see, it has taken me awhile to get to every single one of them.
William Thomas Lawrence married three times. His third wife was his sonin laws Smallwood Ogdens sister, Mildred Colton Ogden, making him both grandfather and uncle to his grandchildren. His son with Mildred, John Ogden Lawrence, was his daughters half-brother and nephew!
