Charles Lawrence was born on 8th March 1832 at North Walsham, Norfolk, England. He is the son and fifth child of Charles Lawrence (a farmer) and Barbara Bird. He was baptised in North Walsham parish on 19th March 1832. ^{[1] [2][3]}

Sadly, Charles died as an infant of only five months old. He was buried in North Walsham graveyard on 5th September 1832. ^[4][5]
