Biography
Dilcy Laws is a part of US Black heritage.
Dilcy, called Dilly, lived at Stagville Plantation in Orange Co, NC. She was a slave owned by Thomas D. Bennehan.
In 1833 Thomas D. Bennehan received Dilcy and her children from Elizabeth Laws through her will and estate.[1][2]
