Biography

Mary was born in 1898. She was the daughter of Henry Lawson and Matilda Lida. She passed away in 1950.

Henry L. Lawson (b. Oct 1863 in KY) was head of a household in Erath Co., TX in the 1900 census. He was living with his wife Matilda J. ( b. Nov 1868 in TX), three sons and two daughters. The sons were Preston O. (b. Mar 1892), Benjamin F. (b. Dec 1893), and Samuel A. (b. Mar 1896). Daughters were Mollie M. (b. May 1890), and Mary E. (b. Mar 1894). All the children were b. in TX. Henry and Matilda had been married 12 years and had six children who were all alive in 1900.

In the 1910 census for Erath Co., TX, Louis H. Lawson (age 42 and b. in KY) was head of a household. Living in the home were his wife Jane M. (age 41), daughter Millie M. (age 19), son Preston P. (age 17), son Benjamin F. (age 16), son Samuel A. (age 14), daughter Mary E. (age 12 and son Don M. (age 8). Jane and the children were all b. in TX. Jane and Lewis had been married 21 years and had seven children of whom six were alive in 1910.
