Biography
When John Arthur Lawson was born on August 16, 1877, in Davis, Iowa, his father, James, was 32 and his mother, Martha, was 28. He married Iva Ethel Daniel on December 21, 1904, in his hometown. They had 11 children in 20 years. He died on December 30, 1937, in Iowa City, Iowa, at the age of 60, and was buried in Moulton, Iowa.
