This profile is part of the Lawson Name Study.

William Lawson of Cramlington, Northumb.,[1] (b. c. 1480? - d. 27 Mar, 9 Henry VII, 1518), was the son of Thomas Lawson (d. 02 Jul 1489),[2] and -- as cited by Dougdale and Archaeologina Aelina -- [Agnes] (d. 1466 / 6 Edw. IV), d. & h. of Sir William Cramlington.[3] Lundy (2009), however, names his mother, "Isabell Killinghall."

Marriage

William married [. . .] Horsley,[1] and lived at Cramlington, Northumberland in 1518. Their second son is James Lawson.[4][2]

Also divers lands etc. in Hertlaw, Morpeth, Bywell and other parts of the County of Northumberland in special fee-tail."
