Michael Lawson was born in Appalachia, in Tennessee.

Michael was born in 1858. He was the son of Jake Lawson and Vicy Lewallen.^[1][2]

Michael Lawson married Susannah Jane Burchfield October 16, 1878, in Scott County, Tennessee, USA.^[3][4]
