Affa was born in 1838. As an adult she was a small woman of about five feet, weighing about 100 pounds. Affa Jane Lawson married Andrew Jackson Frum on December 20, 1857 in Harrison county, Virginia. (WV after 1863) They settled on Wiseman's Run, Marion county, WV and later moved onto a farm about a mile west of the church on the pike. Affa died of lung trouble in Doddridge County in 1902 after raising eleven children. Andrew died three years later of bright's disease. They are both buried at the Victory Cemetery (also recorded as the Wolverton Cemetery). Edited biography originally appeared on the Find A Grave page devoted to Affa[1].
