In 1881, according to the Canada Census he was living with his wife and 3 children in district 10 in Wyse's Corner, Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada. He was W Methodist, 56 years old and a Taylor.[3]
In 1891 he was in district 34 of Halifax in the subdistrict of Meagher's Grant. He was the head of the house, Methodist and 66 years old. [4]
He died on 3 May 1893 and was buried at the Meagher's Grant Cemetery in Meagher's Grant, Nova Scotia, Canada. [1]
