Biography

Birth

Tony Lay was born in Coventry, Warwickshire, England.

Anthony, and his twin brother, was born in 1951 to Marjorie (Blakemore) and Charles Harris Lay.^[1]

The smallest of the twins, and being small in stature, his nickname was 'Min', abbreviated from 'Miniature'.

Marriage

His first of two marriages was at St James's Church, Milton in Portsmouth, Hampshire, April 1972.^[2]

Anthony was father to four children. A son from his first marriage, two sons and a daughter from his second marriage.

Death

He died on 28th January 2021, after losing his battle with COVID-19, aged 69 years.
