Anna Lay was born on April 30, 1741 in Old Saybrook, Middlesex, Connecticut Colony, daughter of Robert Lay (1705–1790) and Jemima Pratt (1708–1766)[1]

Anna (19) married George Wright (24) (born on September 2, 1736 in Westbrook, Middlesex, Connecticut; son of James Wright Jr and Temperance (Whittlesey) Wright) on October 10, 1760 in Saybrook, Middlesex.[2] Their children were:

Anna died on June 1, 1811 in Durham, Greene, New York, United States, aged 70.
