Biography

Nicholas Laycock was born on 3 May 1824 in Russellville, Brown County, Ohio, the third of eight known children and the third of five sons of Levi and Mary Washburn Laycock.
He married Ruth Ann Vance. She bore him three known children, all daughters.
On 19 May 1902, about two weeks after he turned seventy-eight, Nicholas died of unknown causes in Sardinia, Brown County.
