Biography
Sarah was born in 1849. She was the daughter of Jonas Laycock and Mary Banks. "March 29th (1854). Sarah daughter of Jonas & Mary Laycock of Eastwood Row. Born July 21 1849"
She married Richard Varley in Keighley in 1873.
Sarah passed away in 1905 and was buried in the Utley Cemetery. "Varley, Sarah of Woodville Road, Keighley (wife of Richard Varley) died 22 December 1905 at Leeds. Probate London 28 April to the said Richard Varley, wringing machine maker. Effects 2118 pounds"
She worked in the textile industry as a worsted weaver.
