When Louisa Catherine Taylor was born in August 1836 in Tn, Georgia, her father, James, was 46, and her mother, Nancy, was 32. She married William "Wheat" Gravener Likins on August 20, 1868, in Lawrence, Missouri. They had four children during their marriage. She died on October 14, 1912, in Ozark Township, Missouri, having lived a long life of 76 years, and was buried in Lawrence, Missouri.
