Biography

1892 - baptized in Úbrež, Sobrance, Hungary. Her parents were János Lázár and Mária Hriczik.^[1]

1910 - could be the Mary Lazar living as a boarder in the household of Stefan Biczko. She was 18; immigrated in 1907; a laborer at a cotton mill.^[2]

1911 - married John Sepelak in New Jersey.^[3]

1920 - living with John and their three daughters in Perth Amboy. Age 27; immigrated in 1910; naturalized in 1919. Native language - Slovak.^[4]

1930 - living in Perth Amboy with Andrew; his children from his first marriage; and her children from her first marriage. Age 38; immigrated in 1910; age 20 at first marriage. She and both her parents were born in Czechoslovakia.^[5]

1940 - living in Perth Amboy with Andrew and their children. Age 47.^[6]
