Pierre Leblanc was born around 1684, probably in Port Royal. He was the son of Jacques LeBlanc and Catherine Hébert.[1] His parents were married there, all his older siblings were born there, and the family was there when he was 2.

In 1686, at Port Royal, Pierre, aged 2, was living with his parents, Jacques LEBLANC, aged 35, and Catherine HEBERT, aged 23, and his seven siblings: Jean, aged 12, Marguerite, aged 11, Jacques, aged 9, Marie, aged 6, Anne, aged 5, Catherine, aged 3 and René, aged 1 month. The family owned 3 guns and was living on 6 arpents of cultivable land with 25 cattle, 30 sheep and 15 hogs.[2]

Pierre (33) married Marie Landry (25) (born about 1692 in Port-Royal, Acadie, Nouvelle-France; daughter of René Landry and Anne Thériot) on 15 Nov 1718 at Saint Charles des Mines in Grand-Pré, Acadie, Colony of Nova Scotia.[3][1] Their known children were:[4]

  1. Marie Magdeleine LeBlanc (1719–1791) .
  2. Pierre LeBlanc (1721–abt. 1746) .
  3. Jean Baptiste (Leblanc) LeBlanc (1723–1771)

He died on 25 May 1745 in Grand Pré, Acadia, aged about 61 years.[5][1]
