Biography
Placide was born and baptized on October 15, 1810, as recorded in the Memramcook church register. He is the son of Israel LeBlanc and Susanne Leger. Godparents were Jacque Légere and Magdeleine Richard.
Placide and Thérèse married Aug 9, 1930, as recorded in the Richibouctou-Village church register. Groom's parents listed as Isaraël Leblanc and late Susanne Légère. Bride's parents listed as Sylvain Babineau and Marie Richard. A dispensation for 4th degree consanguinity was granted. Witnesses were Israël Leblanc and Pierre Thibodeau.
