Biography

Marie LeBlanc was born about 1791, the daughter of Charles LeBlanc and Rosalie Girouard.[1]

Marie married Jean Caissie, son of Joseph Caissie and Anastasie Léger, about 1825.[1] Their children were:

  1. Elizabeth Caissie (born 27 Oct 1825)
  2. Madeleine Caissie (born 10 Nov 1827)

Marie died on 14 Nov 1827 and was buried the next day in Grande-Digue.[2][3] Her age noted in the parish register was almost 36 years, the wife of Jean Caissie. Present at the burial were Pierre Babineau and Joachim Gallant.
