This Jacques LeBlanc was born around 1678 in Port-Royal, Acadie, Nouvelle-France.[1]
His parents were René LeBlanc and Anne Bourgeois.[2]
In 1686, at Port Royal, Jacques, aged 6, was living with his parents, Rene LEBLANC, aged 29, and Anne BOURGEOIS, aged 25, and his two brothers: Francois, aged 4, and Rene, aged 2. They had no land or animals themselves, but lived near his grandparents' large holding.[3]
Jacques (21) married Catherine Landry (17) (born about 1682 in Port-Royal, Acadie, Nouvelle-France; daughter of René Landry and Marie Bernard) in 1700 in Pisiquit, Acadie.[1][2] Their known children were:

From the marriage of Rene LEBLANC were born at Port Royal: Jacques, Francois, Rene, Pierre, Etienne, Joseph, Claude, Marie, Jean Baptiste, and Victoire. Etienne and Joseph were twins and died as infants. The above Jacques LEBLANC married at Assumption Parish, Riviere de Pisiguit in Acadia, Catherine LANDRY, daughter of Rene LANDRY and Marie BERNARD of Port Royal. Jacques LEBLANC died in that place in October 1755 and Catherine LANDRY, his wife, died same place at Easter 1754.
