Biography

Marguerite LeBlanc was born in 1699 in St-Charles-des-Mines, Grand Pré, Acadie, Nouvelle-France. Her parents were Antoine LeBlanc and Marie Bourgeois. [1]

She married Pierre Allain on March 04, 1716. [1]

Together they had 14 children:

Pierre was a navigator and had been on a trip to France when he died, perhaps from an injury aboard the ship. She married (second) Pierre dit Pitre Richard, widower of Marie-Josèphe Boudrot and son of Alexandre Richard and Isabelle Petitpas, at Port Toulouse, Acadia, about 1751.[1]

She died 18 April 1778 at Miquelon, France, and was buried there the next day.[1]

This Marguerite Leblanc born in 1699 and died in 1788 did not marry Pierre Louis Cormier. No such man is found (yet) in my sources. Anyone have a record of this?

This Marguerite doesn't belong in this family. Removing the parents. Antoine LeBlanc and Marie Bourgeois--they already have their Marguerite born in 1699 and didn't marry Pierre Louis Cormier. See previous post.

LeBlanc-72 and LeBlanc-2665 are not ready to be merged because: Marguerite à Antoine à Daniel married a Pierre Allain around 1717 and a Pierre Richard around 1751, but not a Pierre Cormier.
