Biography

Elisabeth Leblanc was born 28 Sep 1726. She was the daughter of Jacques LeBlanc and Catherine Landry. She was baptized the day she was born at Saint Charles des Mines, Grand-Pré, Acadia. Her godparents were le Sieur De Rosier Racois, master surgeon and Anne Leblanc.[1]

When she was 22, she married Simon Leblanc, age 23, son of Joseph Leblanc and Anne Bourg 16 July 1748 at Saint Charles des Mines, Grand-Pré, Acadia.[2]

Elisabeth LeBlanc, daughter of Jacques "a Rene" LeBlanc and Catherine Landry, was born and baptized on the same day, 28 Sep 1726, in St. Charles des mines, Grand Pre, Acadia. Baptismal sponsors were Sr. de Rosier Racois and Anne LeBlanc. With dispensation, Elisabeth married her 2nd cousin, Simon LeBlanc, son of Joseph LeBlanc and Anne Bourg, on 16 Jul 1748 at Grand Pre. Her family were transported to Maryland during the Grand Derangement. Elisabeth died before the censuses of 1763.
