Biography

Simon LeBlanc is on the Wall of Names at the Acadian Memorial in St. Martinsville, Louisiana Plaque 5 Left. Also listed, his wife Catherine Thibodeau and three children: Cosme, Marie Louise and Marie Angelique. [1]

Cosme Leblanc was born about 1760 in Acadia. He died at age 55 on 14 Apr 1811 in La Fausse Pointe, St. Martin, LA., and was buried the same day at St. Martinville, St. Martin, LA[2]
