Celeste (LeBlanc) Surette is a descendant of an Acadian
Marie Celeste LeBlanc was the daughter of Jacques Raymond LeBlanc and Marie Flora Pothier.[1]
She was born September 4, 1906[1][2] in Tusket Wedge, Nova Scotia[3][4], and was baptised September 9, 1906 at St. Michael's[1] in Tusket Wedge.[4]
She grew up in the family home located on the Nicholas Road in Tusket Wedge.[3][4]
She married Denis Harvey Surette, the son of Maximin Denis Surette and Marie Surette, on November 27, 1937 in Medford, Massachusetts.[1]
The couple had at least 2 children[5]:
Marie Celeste died September 19, 2000 in Wakefield, Massachusetts[2], and was buried at the Lindenwood Cemetery in Stoneham, Massachusetts.[5]
