The death of Philip H. LeBlanc occurred at the home of his son, Adolphe LeBlanc, at Little Cape, on Monday at 8 p.m. The deceased was 81 years of age and had been ill a month. He is survived by his wife, who before her marriage was Justine Brun, of Cape Bauld; two daughters, (Pelagie) Mrs. Andrea Jacob, Little Cape, and Mrs. Ferdinand Leger, Shediac Cape, and three sons, Arthur, Charles and Adolphe, all of Little Cape. Three brothers, Edward, of Lewisville, Jake,of Shediac and Patrick, of Auburn, Mass., and one sister, Mrs. Ruphene Pellerin, of Shediac, also survive. The funeral took place Wednesday morning at St. Timothy's Church, Shemougue, at 8 o'clock. High mass was sung by Rev. Father Camille LeBlanc. The pallbearers were nephews of the deceased, Adolphe A. LeBlanc, Edward and Fred LeBlanc, Clovis Jacob, Philip and Adolphe LeBlanc.[3]
