Joseph was born around 1760 while his parents were in exile in Massachusetts. He was the son of Augustin LeBlanc and Françoise Hebert. Joseph and his siblings Étienne and Élisabeth were baptized on 6 September 1767 in Yamachiche. [1]

He married Marie Scholastique Landry on January 08, 1787. [2] Their marriage contract was signed before Jean-Baptiste Badeaux, notary, on January 3, 1787. [3]

He married Louise Vigneault on January 12, 1795. [4]

He married Marie Charlotte Turcot on April 04, 1826. [5]

He passed away in 1838. [6]
