Early Life
He was born on October 16, 1793 and baptized the same day in L'Île-Perrot, Province de Québec. His name at birth was Antoine Le Duc. He was the son of Antoine Le Duc and Charlotte Préjen. Godparents were Louis Préjen and M. Josephe Dielle. The officiating priest was Cazeneuve. [1]
