Occupation

He was a lawyer (avocat) in the household of the King of France, Louis XIV

Incident

He was the father of Louis Lejeune.
In 1699 his son was abducted by his mother, Louis' grandmother, with the aim of removing him from the repressive Catholic regime. Eventually the boy arrived in Ireland.
It is unlikely that Nicolas-François was complicit in this. The King was said to be distressed by the event
