John was born in 1869. He was the son of Thomas LeMar. He passed away in 1950.

Rites 1 p.m. Monday For John T. Lemar
Funeral services for John Thomas Lemar, 80, of 524 North Stone street, who died Saturday morning in St. Mary's hospital, will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday in the J. J. Moran & Sons funeral home with burial in Arcola cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home.
In failing health for several years, he made his home with a son, Clark Lemar.
Mr. Lemar was born in Springerton, Ill., Sept. 22, 1869, a son of the late Thomas J. and Eliza Gadbury Lemar.
His wife, Loretta, survives.
He leaves five sons, Clark, Henry, Alzona and Everett of Decatur and Benton of Neoga.
He also leave two daughters, Mrs. Robert English and Mrs. Wayman Washburn of Decatur. There are 19 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
