Louis was born about 1848. He passed away about 1936. Louis worked for the City of Montréal as a Civil Engineer. They had a housekeeper / domestic servant who was 19, named Georgiana (recorded as LeSage) in 1881 Census.
There are varying birth dates on census records one has his birth year as 1848, but 3 others have him born in 1851. His death records are so obscure as to be only partially legible.
