Marjorie was the youngest daughter of William the Lion, King of Scots, and his queen-consort Ermengarde Beaumont, although the date of her birth is unknown.[1][2]
On 1 August 1235, at Berwick, she married Gilbert Marshal, 7th earl of Pembroke.[3][1] There were no children from this marriage.[1][2] Her husband died 27 June 1241 of injuries sustained during a tournament.[1]
Marjorie, Countess of Penbroke, died 17 November 1244 and was buried in the church of the Black Friars in London.[1][2][4]
