Louis Aubin Le Buffe was born about 1716 at Saint-Michel-des-Loups, Normandie (today Manche), France. He was the son of Jean Baptiste Le Buffe. His mother's name is not known. [1]

Louis Aubin Lebuffe married Anne Quimine in Acadia in about 1747.[1]

Anne and Louis had at least two children together in Acadia (Modeste c. 1748, and Marie Françoise c. 1750).[1]. They had two additional children Charles and Marguerite by 1758.

In 1758 the family was deported to St. Malo by the British. Louis, Anne Quimine, their four children and Annes sister, Marguerite were on board and Guillaume Gallais.. The baby Marguerite died during the crossing. Surprisingly, none of the remaining family members were hospitalized after. [2]

Louis passed away sometime after June 1762, when he was noted on the census at Saint-Malo. [3]
