Any information appreciated. The last person that I have is David Chapman 04 Jul 1832 - 26 May 1926. Died Sutton, Caledonia, Vermont, USA

I have no spouse or parent information.

My Grandfather came to the USA in 1910, he was born in Canada in October 1909. Allen Facteau
1st ancestor arriving in the USA was Lawrence Leach around 1630.
Myles Standish's 2nd wife is Barbara (unknown) I believe that she is Barbara Mullins who was originally named Moulines; ******I understand that the Mullins were originally "Moulines" (changed to Mullins after arriving in the UK) and fled France to escape persecution because they were Huguenots. {This was told to me by my maternal Grandmother}******
Berth Wright was my paternal Grandmother. She died around the mid 1970's as I recall.

My ancestor, Mary( Baker) Vines(1737-1812) is not your ancestor. She was born in January 1737 in Purton, Wiltshire, England. Her children were born 1758 to 1781 in Wiltshire. She died in 1812 in East Tytherton, Wiltshire.

Sorry, jim.

Frank, both of the George Cuttings you have created already exist on WikiTree. You should NOT create new profiles. Search the database first before adding new ones. See Cutting-308 and Cutting-368. Your profiles are duplicates and compound errors on WikiTree and they should be merged INTO the existing profiles.

Hi Frank,

Now that you have had a little time to try WikiTree, there are a few more features you may find useful.

Ideas on what to include in a profile can be found in Styles and Standards, including some tips on writing biographies.

If you need to describe an event, an heirloom or a location relevant to your research, you may like to learn about Free Space Profiles.

Lastly, sometimes you'll run into unresponsive profile managers. We have a process for resolving those unfortunate situations.

If you have any questions, feel free to ask via my profile page. Marlene ~ WikiTree Mentor

Hi Frank,

I see that you just did the Pre-1700 Self-Certification. That's great!

Is there a particular time period, location, or topic you're interested in? Maybe you have some historically-significant ancestors?

Let me know. I can help you figure out if there's a project and introduce you to the project leaders.

Hi Frank, I see your brand new here, and I can tell your full of enthusiasm. However you need to be more careful about creating duplicate profiles. You created two Benjamin Soules and there was already one on Wikitree. Remember there is only one profile per person allowed on Wikitree. You also created three profiles for his wife and one for his mother. All these are duplicates, and will need to be merged. Before creating more ancestors, double check to make sure they're not here already. I can almost guarantee that anyone born before 1700 is already here. You can do a search by using the drop down menus in the upper right corner under > Find > People Search. Remember that sometimes there are alternate spellings also. If you have questions use the G2G forum.

Frank, I'd like to see you build down from your profile - to at least people who were born in the mid- 1700's. It will be a lot easier to find a Mayflower connection that way. Becky Syphers
