This is a proposal to update the birth of Richard's daughter Rachell to "before 7 May 1668," citing the baptismal record. See Richard D. Pierce, The Records of the First Church in Salem, Massachusetts, 1629-1736 (Salem, Mass. : Essex Institute, 1974), 28 (Rachell, 1668); digital images, InternetArchive, "[1668] 7:3--Rachell of Sister Leech."

Notes

There are two Rachell baptisms recorded--one 6 April 1651 and one 7 May 1668, neither of which provides for a father's name.

Richard Leach's will dated 17 June 1685 refers to his daughters "Hannah and Rachell," both are unmarried, with some question of whether they will marry and have children.

From the will, seems more likely that Richard's daughter is younger, so about age 17 rather than about age 34.

Edited to add: We should also update her birth location to "Salem, Essex, Massachusetts Bay Colony" AND remove the death information in data field. (She was named in her father's will, so she survived.)
