Westralians generally will be grieved to hear of the demise of the mother of one of our most charitable Lady Bountifuls, the latter Mrs. Charlie Roberts, of "Bona -Vista," Mt Lawley. Mrs. Mary Huxley, mother of Mrs. Roberts, hailed from Singleton, N.S.W., and was one of. those fast-disappearing pioneers , of whom Australia is so justly proud of, Mrs. Huxley, whose husband had been a pioneer miner in N.S.W., was of a gentle and loving disposition, her own circle of friends here in W.A being as large as those of her own daughter. In consequence of her mother's death the announced wedding of Mrs. Roberts will be postponed.
